Less Than 50 Days Till Bloodstock!

It is almost that time of the year again where the UK welcomes one of its finest Metal festivals to the Midlands. And if you thought Bloodstock was over with announcements for the festival you were wrong, as they have just announced another 18 fantastic bands!

Saturday you will get to see thrash monsters Havok tear up the place on the Ronnie James Dio stage. They have recently been touring and celebrating the release of their latest album ‘Conformicide.’ Check out this awesome new video ‘Claiming Certainty’ taken from the album!

Next up to join the Ronnie James Dio stage are tech death outfit Fallujah. If you want to get a taste of what they gents are going to bring, then check out the video for the song ‘Abandon’ taken from their recent release ‘Dreamless’.

If that is not enough then jump over to the Sophie Lancaster stage for some tasty thrash from Shrapnel (www.facebook.com/ShrapnelOfficial). Next up get your teeth into some awesome metal from Internal Conflict (www.facebook.com/internalconflict )If you want something on the other side of the metal spectrum then prepare yourself for the mighty stoner blues outfit Ironrat ( www.facebook.com/ironrattheband). If you like Akercocke and Aghast, then make sure you see members perform in the extremist group Corpsing (www.facebook.com/corpsingmetal ).

Saturday welcomes a healthy dosage of heavy prog from the sweet sounding OHHMS (www.facebook.com/OHHMStheband ). Then on Sunday British/Chilean thrash/death metal foursome, Criminal (www.facebook.com/Criminal.Band) and kings of mammoth grooves, Gravil (www.facebook.com/gravil) will round-up a glorious weekend.


Metal 2 The Masses is currently in its final stages and there some winners already who will be hitting the Hobgoblin New Blood stage this year. If you like bands like Fear Factory and Lamb of God, then you should check out Carlisle outfit Seek Solace In Ruin.

For fans of Sylosis and Children of Bodom come on down and check out the brutal Saltash heroes Mantra!

Look out for first place Glasgow winners Titan Breed (https://www.facebook.com/pg/titanbreedmusic/) will be bringing the riffs on Saturday alongside Gravesend winners  Infected Dead who will destroy with their monstrous death metal (https://www.facebook.com/pg/Infecteddead/). You also have the three-piece prog outfit Solar Sons who won the Inverness finals with their Rush/Budgie flavours (https://www.facebook.com/solarsonsofficial).

If that wasn’t enough you have the Cardiff progressive kings that are Malum Sky. If you like music like Periphery and Karnivool then you will like this lot!

On Sunday, Bloodstock warmly welcomes Norway winners Vorbid who will be bringing a big slice of thrash metal to delight all. If you love Megadeth, Testament and Annihilator then this outfit is for you!
