The recently released Watchdogs 2, you know that game with frequent violence, common gunfights and the occasional splatter of blood? It was recently discovered that Ubisoft overstepped the explicit content boundaries with an in-game display of genitalia.
This unforgivable error was spotted by a player simply known as Adam who got the game early. He explained on Neogaf forum: “”On Sunday evening, I accidentally blew up a few women in a back alley with a gas pipe and then I saw it”.

Call me crazy but the first part of that quote seems to be a lot worse than any lady part. It’s always nice to know that blowing up women, taking drugs, choosing to be violent to everything around you is okay but human genitalia is considered taking it too far.
Adam has since been banned from the PlayStation network for a month. Yes, banned for showing in-game footage. There is a somewhat happy ending to this affair. Adam has been unbanned by SONY a few days later while Ubisoft has released an update for the game that removes the rude content. They also released a statement:
“This update does away with sexually explicit NPC model, fixes a bug with the emote and weapon wheels, and improves performance on the PS4”.
In the end things have been put to rights and we’re back to being able to make War, not Love.
