Interested in getting inked for absolutely free by tattoo artist Scott Campbell who’s tattooed the likes of Orlando Bloom, Courtney Love, Heath Ledger and Marc Jacobs to name a few, then here’s your chance.
In October, in London, Scott will be hosting his ‘Whole Glory’ exhibition. The slight twist? The tattoo enthusiasts who enter themselves into this sweepstake will have no input into the artists choice of design. This is an opportunity for individuals to insert their arm into a hole in the wall to be granted with a curious new piece.
Throw your arm into the, er, hat
From 7 – 9 October, each day six individuals will be selected randomly to put their trust into Scott and his tattoo machine.
“Anyone who wants can stick their arm through a hole and I will tattoo it,” Campbell Said. “I apply whatever design I feel the appendage needs, and the recipient has no insight as to what it is until it is completed and they pull their arm out of the hole. There is no communication and no contact other than the tattoo,”.
After Whole Glory’s success in 2015 in New York, Scott presented the exhibition in LA this June and Moscow in last month.
Mr Campbell spent two years creating a new body of work which is now ready to be debuted at the Lazarides Gallery. Displayed in stainless steel frames are a collection of nine tattooed pig skins which have been stitched together and represent various episodes of emotions.
From 7 – 9 October Whole Glory will be at the Lazarides Gallery, to enter yourself into the daily tattoo raffle sign up is in person.
